Every Rave loan is secured against Australian real estate.
What Is Bridging Finance?
A short-term loan for a timing problem.
Bridging finance (also called a bridging loan) is short-term, property-secured funding that covers the gap between two events, most often buying before you've sold or settling before a refinance lands. Instead of ongoing monthly repayments, it's typically repaid in one go once your exit lands: a sale, a refinance, or a payout. It's not a product a bank moves quickly on, which is usually exactly when you need it most.
How It Works
Four steps, no bank queue.
Tell us the gap
What you're buying, what you're waiting on (a sale, a refinance, a payout) and how long you need to bridge it for.
We assess the exit
Bridging finance lives or dies on how you repay it. We look at the security and the exit, not just a credit score.
Indicative terms, fast
Most bridging enquiries get an indicative answer within 24–48 hours, not weeks of back-and-forth.
Funds bridge you through
Settle on the new property, cover the shortfall, or fund the deal, while your exit plays out on its own timeline.
Bridging Solutions
What we bridge.
Property bridging finance
Buying your next property before the current one has sold. Short-term finance covers the gap so you're not forced into a rushed sale.
Business bridging loans
Working capital, stock, or a time-sensitive opportunity, funded against property while a bigger facility, sale or payout comes through.
Commercial bridging loans
Commercial and industrial property deals that need to move faster than a bank's standard commercial lending process allows.
Short-term & urgent bridging finance
A settlement, auction win, or deadline that can't move. Assessed and answered fast enough to actually meet it.
Why Not the Bank?
Bridging is a speed product. Banks aren't fast.
A bridging loan only works if it's approved before your settlement date, not after it. Rave assesses the deal directly, so there's no committee, no broker shopping your file around, and no generic bridging loan calculator standing in for a real answer.
